Ok, so I want to take pictures. Like SERIOUSLY... I want to take pictures. Late November 2008, I purchased my first 'real' camera, Nikon's D90. I've heard it's a great camera, and it's even been compared to one of its siblings, Nikon's D300 (which is supposed to be the bigger brother).
The D90 is a DSLR (digital single-lens reflex). If you need an explanation of what a DSLR is, I encourage you to google for a definition. All, I know, is that the D90 is a camera. My camera has lenses:
Nikon 18-105mm VR
Nikon 55-200mm VR
Sigma 10-20mm
I also have flash, Nikon's SB-600. Given the aformentioned equipment, an unsuspecting newbie to photography would think that I am armed and dangerous. Technically...I am, meaning that if I put all of my gear into a pillow case and banged you across the head it could cause a concussion. Ok, I jest.
This blog is about me learning how to make/take pictures. To quote a poster from a forum that I frequent, "I got no fancy film school learnin'." I just have to make it do, what it do, baby!
